In the fall of 2006, members of the Northwest Wisconsin Regional Food Network decided to spearhead a local effort to come up with a similar Farm Fresh Atlas. With a one-time seed grant from the UW-Extension Western District, the Farm Fresh Atlas of Western Wisconsin was launched.
